What to Watch
The material does not state how many ballots remain uncounted or when final tallies will be available. Measure S, a transportation tax renewal, faces a 7.06-percentage-point gap in early returns. The Fresno Unified school board race where Steed leads Islas and Garcia shows no candidate near 50%. The county superintendent race shows Cantwell-Copher with a 15-point lead, but the material gives no context on her tenure, her challenger’s platform, or what either would do differently in office.
