Adam Gray, the Democratic incumbent, is running for re-election to California’s 13th Congressional District in November 2026 against Republican challenger Kevin Lincoln, seeking to defend a seat he won by just 182 votes in 2024. Redistricting under Proposition 50, approved by voters in November 2025, redrew the district to include part of Stockton, making it more favorable for Democrats. Gray has campaigned on bipartisanship, saying he is focused on “finding opportunities for bipartisan legislation” and on affordability, and has been endorsed by at least ten Central Valley mayors and the California Farm Bureau. Lincoln, who has been endorsed by President Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson, is campaigning on cost of living, border security, and support for Valley farmers and ranchers.
